The Business Owners Policy, while each individual business’s insurance needs are different, there are some simple and common insurance coverage that small to medium sized businesses should consider. Policies that cover buildings and personal property on a replacement cost basis should be noted as well as business income coverage, employee dishonesty, burglary and robbery, and money and securities insurance.

Please take note that most home based business are underinsured and any business related losses will not be covered under their homeowner’s policy.
